Kentucky is a hidden gem of Southern fare – with one-of-a-kind restaurants and chefs who specialize in local ingredients. From showcasing the best of Kentucky’s cuisine at The Beard House in New York City to hosting “Top Chef” Season 16 in Kentucky, our state is emerging as a top culinary destination and the culinary world is taking notice!
Over the next year, we’ll kick off a celebration of our culinary traditions and emergence of Kentucky as a culinary destination, which will continue for years to come. Visitors to our state are invited to join in the celebration of time-honored dishes that are just as much a part of the place as the land and its people. When you begin to think about Kentucky’s culinary scene, outdoor adventures, and cultural and historical experiences, you realize… it’s just Better in the Bluegrass.
